Daisy, 3yr old Maltipoo

When Daisy first arrived over a year ago she had clear sign of anxiety and a fight or flight with a good bite. We began collaborating with her family and Veterinarian to see what medication would fit Daisy best. At first, it was the usual combination of Gabapentin and Trazidone. We soon realized she may need an everyday medication and she was started on Prozac. As a rescue, we do not know her past, but her body language speaks for itself. Now one year and 6 months later, Daisy no longer requires any Gabapentin or Trazidone for her services. Although, Prozac is still a part of her daily life, we can get her groomed completely and safely without the fear she exhibited in the beginning.

Ollie, 2yr old Terrier

Ollie is one of my newest clients, we reached a full groom by our 4th session. In his evaluation session he exhibited extreme fight or flight that led to cowering, self-urination, then to biting, all the while on his Trazidone & Gabapentin. A strong collaboration with his family led the path to our success. With more time, our relationship will grow stronger and his trust in human touch will too!
